How does a ghee making plant work?
A ghee making plant processes cream or butter through controlled heating to evaporate moisture and separate milk solids, followed by clarification and filtration to produce clear ghee. Maxonova manufactures automatic ghee making plants in food grade SS 304/316, currently in 300 LPD and 500 LPD capacities.

Why are ghee plants rated in LPD rather than LPH?
Ghee production is a batch process involving extended heating and settling, so output is measured per day rather than per hour. A 300 LPD plant produces up to 300 litres of ghee per day. Our milk processing and dairy plants are rated in LPH because they run continuously.

How much cream or butter does a ghee plant need as input?
Ghee yield depends on the fat content of your input material, so required input varies considerably between cream and butter feedstock. Tell us what you are working with and your target output and we will advise on the appropriate capacity.

Can a ghee plant also process paneer or other dairy products?
Maxonova manufactures processing equipment for ghee, paneer, cheese and dairy by-products. These are different processes requiring different equipment, so tell us your full product range at enquiry stage and we will recommend the right combination.
